TayTay is obviously having a bit of a moment, getting exploited by the fashion rags riding a wave of irony or obsession (or both?). But how about that tan and those brows on her Wonderland cover done by the very talented Maxine Leonard (queen of brows) at Jed Root? This look set a thousand chins wagging to the point where Maxine’s presence is being requested for private tutorials!
You don’t get more fresh than the makeup palette as seen on the beautiful full lipped, curly haired Mica as seen in the shoot by Willy Vanderperre and Olivier Rizzo. That creamy alabaster skin highlighted with pink nudey eyes and a peachy lip balmy sheen all sexed up with lashings of clumpy mascara. Curled lashes and her even curlier 80’s messy up do completes her eclectic new romantic look. Add mismatched rhinestone earrings and a lace collar and we are taking a fresh look at the 80’s again.
Gucci Westman’s work never fails to disappoint me and this glowy look featured in my most favourite beauty story Stylist have ever printed. Aptly titled All About That Bass, Gucci takes the model through 4 beautiful beauty looks all focusing on the texture of the skin; starting from the very on trend matte 90’s skin all the way through to full on wet look gloss and glow skin. The Bass story was a great way to see all the skin trends side by side and inspirational too.
