You know when you find a product in the most unlikely of packing/brand/scenarios and it turns out to be bloody brilliant? That happened to me last month when I was kindly sent a bunch of Guinot goodies to try out. Guinot is an old school, French skincare brand who do customised in-depth facials, are ethical (don’t test on animals or use parabens or GMO products in their formulas).
Turns out they do a pretty amazing gradual tanner as well.
I don’t normally have time for tan of the gradual variety, I want it to be instant or I want the sun to give it me. But the new Guinot Lait Auto Bronze Gradual Tanner is gradual in the sense that I put it on and wake up looking like an Egyptian goddess, none of that 3 applications before you see results.
It blends beautifully, doesn’t streak and you get a load of skin benefits at the same time like Aloe Vera for supple skin; while DHA and Erythrulose both promote a golden, even tan. The formula is like a runny lotion. I use a mitt to apply because I don’t want it staining my hands. I apply a generous blog per limb and I’m done in about 5 mins. I do this once a week because the colour lasts for around 7 days.
The only downside is I go to bed smelling of that weird biscuity smell but I’m overlooking that because the results are fab.
