I used to enjoy packing for holidays, it was an art. I rejoiced in being able to sit an organise a case full of essentials and edited outfits. I’m not sure exactly when the change happened but I now never have enough time to complete this once pleasurable task. It becomes an interminable exercise of indecision which ends in me rushing, getting stressed out and making the wrong decisions.
Packing a carry on bag is possibly even more difficult, especially when you are limited to the one bag and are doing an 8 hour journey! Read on for my inflight essentials.
Newest bag in my collection, I love how slim and sleek this is on my back but still fits quite a lot. A real leather bargain too.
I never have enough time to actually read this magazine unless I’m travelling so always pack the latest to catch up.
Pre-holiday I always stock up on at least 3 novels. Currently in my library is: The Paying Guests by Sarah Waters, The Summer of the Spanish Lady by Catherine Gaskin and The Land of the Long White Cloud by Sarah Lark.
Being trapped on a plane with nowhere to go means I have plenty to time to catch up on blogging. No Excuse!
I got these for my 21st birthday from my sister. I’ve never ever bought headphones before but having a decent pair to hand is always good even if I have outgrown the design. I think these will last me years.
An in-flight edit if I ever saw one, I limit myself to Caudalie Beauty Elixir Facial Spray and Hand Cream, Clarins Hydraquench Moisturiser (travel size), Codage Eye Cream and my latest obsession Fresh Sugar Lip Treatment with SPF 15.
Temperatures fluctuate in flight so I always pack an extra jumper and socks. My jumper is a basic grey Fruit of the Loom and the socks are by Jack Wills.
