MY CHRISTMAS PARTY LOOK SORTED: THE FESTIVE EDIT

xmas3

Woohooo party season – which means a hell of a lot of sequins and sparkle! I’ve never been a christmas jumper type of gal always opting for the dressier festive option. I have put together my idea of the perfect christmas party look.

I have fallen head over heels for this glittery black ensemble from ASOS. The long line top and midi skirt is slightly 20’s inspired with it’s loose fitting column shape, perfect as I will be hoovering up the mince pies and yorkies at the buffet. Not doing anthing to help my granny rep but I kinda like how the arms are covered so I won’t be too chilly on a cold night.
I think the length of skirt will really let the shoes do the talking, which is why I have opted for these boudoir inspired, nude fluffy stiletto sandals by Missguided.
Just when you thought all this fluff and sequins sounded a little excessive I am throwing this silver metallic Rivington clutch into the mix. I just cant resist the trend for mixing different textures. The foil effect Whistles clutch is pretty and slim but large enough to hold all your party necessities. It also has a chain strap for those moments when you are holding two drinks at once…(only me?!)
To accessorise I have selected a pair of gunmetal grey and rose gold horn studs, which ties the colour palette together nicely. A little rose signet ring on the pinky is some added bling. This one is by Marc by Marc Jacobs.
The main focus of my party makeup look will be this rather daring new product by Benefit that I have been saving for my Christmas party. Bling Brow is a set of Swarovski crystals which are used to embellish your eyebrows.
