After crashing out on the for a few hours we got up and got dressed UP. The French Table in Surbiton has been on my radar for a year now. This very chic and intimate restaurant books up at weekends months in advance! It’s a short stroll from Surbiton train station, which is only 10-15 mins on train from zone 1 in London. It’s definitely worth a visit for a special occasion.

The staff are impeccable and the owners, a husband and wife, make you feel so welcome and special. We opted for the Tasting Menu at £48 a head and decided to select our own wines. We drank Sancerre, my favourite, but had the recommended glass of red for the Wagu Beef course.

The food and service were divine and the taster portions, although small, were the perfect size as we still had room for an incredible dessert plate which that stuck a candle in and wrote my name out in caramel, nice touch.

I wore my new Navy Cashmere ASOS dress and black knee-high Zara suede boots. I paired this with my new Chloe Faye bag also in black suede/leather and my Kylie Jenner Lip kit in Mary Jo K which arrived that very morning, just in time. I didn’t change my hair from the day time just brushed it through and ran to the uber.

It was the perfect day and night. I hope you like the photos.
