4 WAYS TO STYLE DENIM

Denim is the staple of my wardrobe. A good pair of jeans will see you through the years but a new pair of jeans, in a trendy cut, can instantly update your wardrobe.

Topshop have an incredible jeans selection that I have been shopping since I was a teen. I’m still a massive fan, their MOM jeans. These will be a style I will continue to buy for decades as it suits my shape so well.

My latest Lookbook on Youtube is all about styling different denim jeans in 4 very different looks.

LOOK 1 // FEMME FOREVER

Fem Tomboy boy outfits keep me in comfort and style throughout the year.

I have owned Topshop MOM jeans in black since they first came out 4 years ago, The shape nips in at the waist and leave rooms for girls with hips unlike a lot of jeans. As much as I like the light acid washed style the black ones are always more flattering.

Slightly obsessed over girl power slogan tee’s right now. I can’t seem to take this FEMME FOREVER one off. Someone asked me the other day if it was the only t-shirt I owned. Slightly embarrassing.

Paired with a black puffa and trusty vans, of course, for a street gal coolness.

LOOK 2 // DOUBLE UP DENIM

I’ve been doing the double denim since the Amy Winehouse days, along with head scarf and big, inky black cat eye flicks. The best thing about double denim is it’s so easy to looked pulled together but still casual. I personally don’t think the denim shades need to match but they must all be blue hues or black/greys.

A western belt completes the look along with nude sling back mules that elongate the leg.

LOOK 3 // SASS & STRIPES

I felt so Jenny from the block in this outfit; cute but sassy. These straight leg jeans are pretty skinny but aren’t skinny skinny because they aren’t tight on the ankles and have a slight crop. A comfortable high rise on the waist feels feminine and trendy at the same time.

The striped top is cute and casual and the ruffle details on the sleeves adds a nice design touch. I paired this with a slicked back ponytail, gold tone hoops, soft black mules and a black cross-body bag.

LOOK 4 // WHATTA GEM

I wanted to show a nighttime denim look and these gemstones studded jeans are so Fanceeeee. This jean’s shape is a low-slung boyish shape (Hadyen) and all the glamour is in the embellishment.

I paired these with sparkling, barely there gunmetal heels that sparkle in the light and a black long sleeve bodysuit. As the neckline is plunging I added a slinky silver chain that travels down to the navel.
