Have you ever gone into a shop and seen an item of clothing and purchased it then and there? Not even stopped to look around at other garments, just pluck your size from the rail march straight to the till and paid for said garment because the affinity with this item was so strong that when you think back to what happened the moments in between seeing the item and exiting store everything seems sorta hazy.
This happened to me two weeks ago when I had some time to kill and decided to have a look at some of the new season pieces in Topshop, well like I said, it’s all a bit hazy but I bought this dress and I’M IN LOVE.
The Trailing Floral Midi Dress by Topshop is the perfect trans-seasonal item. Although the blue is reminiscent of bright august skies the 70’s floral print in yellow and brown sings a more autumnal tune. Cut with fluted sleeves and a trailing floral print and delicate side tie detail. 70’s is going to be a major trend in my winter 2015 wardrobe and this is the first pieces of the puzzle.
I paired it with my new River Island Patent Snake Skin boots in Burgundy, (only £40 but keep selling out already!). A tan jacket completes the look, this one is also Topshop (read the Lookbook here). As you can see I’m feeling rather groovy in it.
