LOOKBOOK: KICKFLARES & KASUAL FRIDAYS

IMG_7682It could very well be the last Friday I celebrate ankle freedom sans sockettes (where did this chill suddenly descend from?) I am doing so in my Kasual Kick-Flare Friday look. It feels like I have been searching for  suitable pair of these for months…

kick_flares_1stylelobster_70's_jumper70s_knitted_turtleneck_jumper IMG_7673tibi_loafer_slip_ons kick_flares_asosIMG_7707IMG_7706I found this Monki Cropped Tailored Trouser pair a few weeks ago and although I wish they were a little shorter they still have the obvious cropped and flarey-ness to them. At 5’5ft most pairs I tried on just look like shrunken school trousers 🙁  I’m happy I’ve found a pair that are the right length however, now I want them in every colour.

My 70’s inspired Colourblock Turtleneck knit is from ASOS. This jumper is perfect for injecting a little colour into my outfit as I tend to lean toward neutrals most days. Poppy red is a colour I am seriously coveting this winter.

If I’m travelling light around town then my Radley Hepburn bag (which is now half price) is my purse of choice. I think the pretty vintage looking blue is beautiful. I wear it with the detachable across the body strap so my hands are free and it’s actually quite roomy now technology is oh so slim. Go here for a look inside this bag and what I carry with me most days.

Last but not least my new super white and fresh (not for long) Le Coq Sportif Arthur Ashe Trainers . I didn’t look closely enough when I bought these to notice they had ribbons for laces, but I have grown to love them and think them sorta cute now.

Happy Friday!
