When I attended LFW this year I was mostly behind the camera instead of in front of it due to launch of the new street style beauty spotter feature Beauty Lobster, which you should totally check out if you haven’t already!
I did manage to get one of my outfits snapped though so thought I would share it with you guys in this weeks Lookbook. This look was thrown together last minute but I kind of like the relaxed boho LA vibe it has.
I have had these trousers for YEARS; they were a random Forever 21 purchase and when I saw them I just had to have them. Nobody needs black crochet, lace flares but I just said to myself, ‘one day you will be glad you went in for this purchase’. Cash exchanged hands, I never looked back. Every winter I get them out and wear them to a party, this year they came with me to fashion week and it just so happened that loads of designers showed flares. 1 point to me!
The long grey marl tee is a fav as well. This was a recent Zara purchase and I love the length of it. It’s rare you find long length tees that aren’t too oversized on top. This one is perfect fit.
I paired the look with my peep toe, black Topshop boots which were a nifty purchase in the summer sale (tenner!) and my classic Ray-Ban Aviators. I have had pretty much every style of Ray-Bans under the sun but I always go back to these – I think they are a classic! I accessorised with a few, fine gold bangles and stacking rings and my simple but favourite Skagen watch. I didn’t want to overload this look with chunky jewellery, I find it’s best to keep a 70’s boho look simple and delicate. Excuse the hair band, I find my wrist is rarely without one!
The clutch is a new purchase, also from Zara. I fell hard for this leather paper bag style, fold over clutch. It’s very roomy inside and held my camera and everything else. It has magnets in which help keep it closed. I used to only wear simple zip clutches but I have been experimenting with some new styles and think the shape is really fun.
