Saturdays are always the best days for coffee, catch ups and street style sessions with my besties. Today Scarlett Anna and I met at the Holborn Grind for a much needed caffeine fuelled catchup. You know when it feels like you haven’t seen you girls in forever but it’s only been 10 days… Yeah it was sort of like that today! There is SO much going on that we needed a good chunk of the day to dissect and advise on every subject dominating our lives right now. These sessions are like therapy without a stranger taking notes and more love.
As it’s January all the natural light was threatening to leave asa,p so we drank up and scouted out this rather poor location for a quick street style shoot. Anna took my pic (you can see her blog here) and Scarlett, a budding stylist, is always on hand for a few little outfit tweaks and adjustments.[
I’m trying to decide which item of clothing I’m wearing, I like best. This morning it was the boots, first spotted on Pandora Sykes, Fash Editor at the Sunday Times Style, these slightly copper tinted, gold leather disco boots were a steal at £29.99 currently in the sale here. I have wanted them for ages and scooped them up as soon as they went into sale and basically haven’t taken them off since.
Pre-coffee I decided to look stick my head into the nearest Zara (the addiction is real people) and saw this camel coat. Again, major sale steal points; this was £129 reduced to £49.99. I’ve never owned a camel coat, opportunity was rife. The oversized mannish fit, quality of the wool and two tone aspects were all selling points for me. What do you think? In store only.
Underneath the coat is my cashmere Whistles top, part of my haute-leisure tracksuit, Christmas gift from the bf (see what else I got for xmas here) and my latest ASOS purchase, these slightly flared, inky blue jeans with ragged hem by Lost Ink, link here. Accessories are gold, as the title of this post would suggest; Hoops by Primark and Wristwatch by Nixon.
